We’ve been honored to bring this workshop to the Nueva Vida Community Gilroy Promotores to support them in standing in and creating from their inherent power, to clarify, articulate, and connect with each other around their shared purpose, and build their capacity to think systematically about who they serve, what they do, and how they can use research tools to help them increase their impact.

Engage in deep reflection and tap into your inherent wisdom through presence, deep listening, compassion, and the use of innovative hands-on tools in service of your own growth and development. Together, we’ll unpack, organize, and make meaning of thoughts, feelings, and intuitions on the road to identifying and clarifying strengths, passions, and goals as we design a way forward.

We have years of experience bringing life design workshops to diverse individuals at all stages of life who are craving change in their personal and/or professional life, as a Faculty of Innovation and Human-Centered Design at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School’s Executive Education Program.

This engaging hands-on workshop blends design thinking and research principles from youth development + research on emerging adulthood, including a strengths-based whole person approach for harnessing one’s creativity and resilience. The course is built to help young people step into the fullest expression of themselves, design their way forward into the future, and equip themselves with essential 21st century tools needed to thrive in an ever-evolving world.

We’ve built upon our long-standing partnership with Kids in Common of Santa Clara County and our work supporting Opportunity Youth to bring our life design for students workshop to the Opportunity Youth young leaders of the Youth Liberation Movement (YLM).

Designed for beginners and seasoned professionals alike, this hands-on workshop demystifies the evaluation process, equipping you with essential skills, tools, and mindsets to assess program effectiveness and drive positive change. Join us to learn the fundamentals of evaluation, from developing program or organizational logic models that articulate your Theory of Change to designing and implementing a process or outcome evaluation, fro interpreting data insights to communicating your impact, join us to unleash your potential to make a lasting impact in your organization and community.

Join us as we blend youth development principles with rigorous evaluation techniques to foster a new generation of change makers equipped to impact the world.

For example, in partnership with ACT for Youth at Cornell University’s Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational Research, we’re bringing youth-led evaluation to build further build the capacity of Native Alaskan youth as part of their scientific bioacoustics researcher training with the Collaborative Ocean Research Experience.
